Summary
This is a unique leadership development program, specifically created for female entrepreneurs, founders and business leaders in the Scottish tech eco-system, delivered by Empowering You and proudly supported by the Scottish Ecosystem Fund 2023-24.
The aim of the initiative is to empower each individual participant to realise their leadership potential and support the creation of a collaborative and powerful community of women leaders across Scotland's tech start-up and scale-up eco-system.
Delivered over 3 months from April - June 2024, Empowering Female Entrepreneurs to Lead is designed to empower participants to develop their leadership capabilities, optimize their potential and enable their transition into more confident, capable and energised leaders.

Program Content
Segmented into key leadership themes which are explored throughout the group workshop sessions, individual coaching and a team community challenge, Empowering Female Entrepreneurs to Lead engages participants in a detailed exploration around the fundamentals of authentic leadership from self-awareness, collaboration and influence, through to optimising your personal impact.
Participant Experience
Empowering Female Entrepreneurs to Lead immerses participants in a multi-layered development journey, designed to ensure maximum individual impact.
This program is delivered in an experiential format, including group activities and action learning sets. Two professional leadership facilitators are used throughout our workshops to make sure we maintain high levels of personal engagement and diverse perspectives.

Pricing & Enrolment
This is a free but selective program. Participants will be selected by a panel based on applications received and to achieve a diverse representation of participants.
Each applicant will be required to complete an application form for consideration and will be notified of their acceptance onto the program within 7 days of application submission.
Places are limited to a maximum of 20 and will be allocated to participants on a "first come, first served" basis.
"Who is eligible?"
This program is specifically designed to support female entrepreneurs who have already established or are in the process of establishing a tech start-up/scale-up business in Scotland. OR for female entrepreneurs who are in a principal leadership role (MD/CEO/COO, etc.) within a tech start-up/scale-up company in Scotland.
"Is my company eligible?"
The term "tech" can seem a bit vague, so as a guide, if your business provides a product or solution which is delivered digitally, relies heavily on data or digital technology for its development or delivery, provides digital/technology services to clients or professional services to predominantly tech company clients, then your company would likely be eligible.

This hybrid program has been specifically designed to incorporate both in-person group days, on-demand coaching scheduled around participants' schedules and virtual group workshops to ensure maximum flexibility around participants' work and personal commitments.
